We know all about families. We especially know how to keep them healthy. Our team of docors and medical staff can provide you with expert care no matter what your stage of life is. From toddlers to teenagers, and young parents to grandparents, you can be assured you have the compassionate care you need. So if your family’s health is important to you, get started at the place where your health is just as important to us!

Nursing
Our nursing staff is dedicated to our patients, and have been with the Center for Family Medicine for a long time, some longer than 25 years.

Lab
Our lab staff does all they can to make your lab experience as comfortable and convenient as possible. Blood samples are drawn in your exam room, which means much less hassle for you.

For your convenience, we open at 7:30 one day per week for fasting labs ordered by your CFM physician. Our lab recently earned our third consecutive perfect review from COLA (a national accreditation counsel) and also received the Laboratory Excellence Award.

X-Ray
We have comprehensive in-house radiology services including x-ray and limited ultrasound. Most x-rays can be taken right in our facility to give you faster results.

Maternity Care
The Center for Family Medicine provides prenatal and postnatal care from pre-conception through delivery and beyond. We offer obstetric ultrasound right in our office.

We encourage all new OB patients to come into our office prior to their first doctor visit to discuss prenatal and financial concerns free-of-charge. A nurse will discuss prenatal concerns and our billing personnel will discuss charges and payment options.

Behavioral Health
Our physicians are trained and ready to assist our patients with common behavioral health problems. Our doctors are supported in the treatment of these problems by a family counselor, and an on staff psychologist.

Senior Care
Senior care is a special area of concentration at the Center for Family Medicine. We focus on the whole person, not just diagnosis and treatment, to improve the patient’s overall quality of life. Our goal is to keep people feeling healthy and staying active all through their lives.

Our board certified geriatricians lead a team that provides:

• Primary care for seniors living at home or in other settings
• Expertise in the use of appropriate medications and dosages for seniors
• Expert management of specific health problems commonly seen in seniors
• Attentiveness to preventive care

Care for Adults
CFM provides care for men and women of all ages including acute health needs, screenings and proven preventive services including adult immunizations.

Care for Children
Our services encompass school and athletic physicals, care for common childhood illnesses, and well child checkups with immunizations. In fact, we are proud to be one of just 14 clinics statewide, and the only one in Sioux Falls to receive the "Golden Syringe" award from the Department of Health for having an over 90% immunization rate.

Airman Medical Examinations
Center for Family Medicine has 2 Federal Aviation Administration designated Aeromedical Examiners (AMEs).  They can administer 2nd or 3rd class physicals.  Online MedXpress use shortens the time you’ll need to spend in our office.  Student through commercial pilots can be accommodated.

International Travelers Clinic
Making a trip abroad? A visit to CFM can help you stay healthy while traveling. We provide complete travel medicine care: advising you on practices to minimize risk, anti-malaria medication, and full vaccinations (we are a certified Yellow Fever vaccination provider).
